We are proud to announce the
First Minisymposium on Mathematics in Engineering and Technology
within ICNAAM 2014, Rhodes, 22-28/09/2014, http://www.icnaam.org/ (the page is under construction for ICNAAM 2014).
The International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics 2014 (ICNAAM 2014) will be held in Rhodes, Greece, Rodos Palace Hotel (http://www.rodos-palace.gr/).
The aim of our symposium is to provide a chance for researchers and engineers to present their research results in applied Mathematics, Engineering, Science and Technology. Topics of interest of the symposium include but are not limited to:
- Applied mathematics (Markov chains, graph theory, etc.).
- Computational fluid dynamics (vortex flows, vortex breakdown phenomena, etc.).
- Mathematical modeling and optimization of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Application of Lattice-Boltzmann Methods (problems with moving boundaries, algorithms with classical turbulence models, polymer technology, etc).
- Dynamical systems (Bifurcation theory, topological and smooth dynamics, random dynamical systems, etc.).
- Uncertainty analysis (theory of uncertainty, optimization under uncertainty, applications of uncertainty analysis in engineering fields, etc.).
- Optimal management of energy-efficient systems.
- Physical phenomena modeling (soil-structure interaction, building and infrastructure problems, catchment hydrology, precipitation and climate, etc.).
- Material Science and engineering.
- Risk assessment technique and management.
Therefore we invite you to submit a contribution (extended abstract of 3-4 pages), following the instruction reported here: http://www.icnaam.org/callfor.htm.
We remind you that the accepted contributions will be published in AIP conference Proceedings, a very well known series of Conference Proceedings, which is included in the leading databases of scientific & engineering literature such as Inspec (an IEE product), Scitation, ISI Web of Knowledge, MathSciNet, Scopus, Scirus, Google Scholar.
Dates of importance are:
- Submission of extended abstracts to the organizers of the Minisymposium: 15/04/2014-15/06/2014
- Notification of acceptance (after a peer-review procedure): 14/07/2014
- Submission of source file for publication: 20/07/2014
(instruction for the format of extended abstract here:
