Italian language and culture courses for foreigners

The University “Niccolò Cusano” offers courses in Italian language and culture to foreigners. Our native teachers, experts in the field with proven experience in teaching Italian as a second language, have the DITALS certificate and are authorized by Società Dante Alighieri for the roles of administrators and assessors of the tests that make up the PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) certification.

Approach

Our courses aim to develop the four language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) through a didactic method, which aims at a communicative approach without neglecting aspects such as grammar or vocabulary.

Our courses

On the basis of the needs of the learners, our online courses can be:

• intensive or extensive;
• individual or group.

Standard courses

Our courses have been developed taking into account the descriptors of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are divided according to the six levels of competence:

• Elementary (A1; A2);
• Intermediate (B1; B2);
• Advanced (C1; C2).

Courses for sectoral or specialised languages

Courses aimed at professionals and workers, focused on teaching scientific – professional microlanguages.
